Author Guidelines

A‑JMRHS welcomes original research, reviews, and clinical studies in medical and health sciences. Manuscripts must follow ICMJE recommendations, CONSORT/PRISMA/STROBE reporting guidelines (as applicable), and journal policies.

1. Submission Requirements

  • Online submission via journal system (OJS). Register at https://www.ajmrhs.com/index.php
  • Cover letter with manuscript overview, significance, and author details.
  • Copyright License Agreement (signed by all authors).
  • Ethics approval documentation (IRB letter).
  • Conflict of interest disclosure.
  • Word limits exclude abstract, references, tables, figures.

3. Manuscript Structure

Title Page (separate file for blinding):

  • Title (≤15 words, specific, no abbreviations).
  • Full author names, affiliations, ORCID iDs.
  • Corresponding author details (email, phone, address).
  • Word count, figure/table count, funding, conflicts.
  • 3-6 MeSH keywords.

Abstract (structured for research):
Background/Objective | Methods | Results | Conclusion 

Main Text:

  • Introduction (background, rationale, objectives).
  • Methods (design, setting, participants, interventions, outcomes, statistics).
  • Results (presented objectively).
  • Discussion (key findings, limitations, implications).
  • Conclusion (1-2 sentences).

References: Vancouver style, numbered consecutively. ≤100 total.
Examples:

Tables/Figures: Numbered sequentially, self-explanatory, ≤10MB each. Submit as separate files (TIFF/JPEG 300dpi).

7. Post-Acceptance

  • Copyediting and galley proofs sent for author approval (48 hours).
  • Publication within 4 weeks of acceptance.
  • DOIs assigned; articles indexed in DOAJ, Google Scholar.
  • No APCs (Article Processing Charges).
